When we first launched The Ballad of West Virginia, founders Cameron, Jaden, and Brian shared a simple yet deeply rooted vision: to ignite our hometown with the incredible energy of live music, art, and genuine community connection. The electric response and overwhelming warmth our community showed us proved something powerful - our community doesn't just attend these moments, we build them together.

That unforgettable success became the heartbeat behind everything we will do next. It fueled our drive to push further, dream bigger, and continue creating spaces where neighbors, families, and friends can gather right here in Barboursville. Now, we're channeling that exact same passion into our biggest autumn celebration yet: Boos and Brews.

We're transforming the Blackfox Social patio and parking lot into the ultimate Halloween destination - part craft beer festival, part family-friendly spooktacular, and free admission for everyone. Whether you're joining us Thursday for movie night, bringing the kids trick-or-treating on Saturday, or raising a pint under the stars to local live music, this weekend is built for you. What started as three friends taking a leap of faith has grown into a movement, and we can't wait to raise a glass with all of you at Boos and Brews!
